David Guetta claimed the crown as The World’s No.1 DJ at the Top 100 DJs 2025 awards in Ibiza.

The victory marked his fifth win, equalling the record held by Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren. Guetta first secured the top spot in 2011 before dominating the early 2020s with wins in 2020, 2021, and 2023.

More than four decades into his career, Guetta continues to operate at full speed. In the past year alone, he released over a track a month, collaborating with AfrojackMartin GarrixNicky RomeroFatboy SlimMKHugel, and Sia, while also dropping a remix for fictional K-pop group Huntr/x. His Galactic Circus residency at [UNVRS] Ibiza ran all summer with extended, improvised sets, while his global show The Monolith has packed stadiums from Paris’ Stade de France to AlUla in Saudi Arabia.

Reflecting on the win, David Guetta said: “To win Top 100 DJs again, for joint-record fifth time, is an honour… the most exciting thing for me is being creative and going away from what everyone else is doing.”

The night also celebrated Armin van Buuren (Outstanding Contribution & World’s No.1 Trance DJ), Sara Landry (World’s No.1 Hard DJ), Michael Bibi (Highest New Entry), Jazzy (Future Star), Charlotte de Witte (World’s No.1 Techno DJ), FISHER (World’s No.1 House DJ), Solomun (Highest Climber), and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (World’s No.1 DJ Group).
